The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) is a groundbreaking piece of legislation that creates millions of new clean energy jobs, makes prescription drugs more affordable, and asks the ultra-wealthy and big corporations to pay their fair share in taxes.

By celebrating concrete improvements in people’s lives and communities as the result of recent legislation (especially the Inflation Reduction Act), we will increase the number of people who support an active and inclusive government and are therefore harder to target with racialized ‘divide and conquer’ rightwing messaging.

Who wouldn’t want to celebrate the incredible impact of an active and inclusive government that is investing in our future? With your help, we can grow this Powering Progress campaign to make sure our communities know about these benefits and make sure folks understand how we gained them.
